Alsanosi Adam is a storyteller from Sudan. He graduated with a master's in Documentary Film Production from the University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. As a radio producer in South Sudan, Adam worked on media for behavior change he produced cultural and education programs. Adam Co-created Your Home Is Yours, one of the longest radio drama series on reintegration in South Sudan, he also Co-wrote and produced Sawa Shaba a peace building radio program for South Sudanese addressing the recent war, the program is currently broadcasting in South Sudan. Adam is interested in producing documentary films on social justice, human rights, economics, and development. His latest project is Losing Oakland, a documentary on gentrification in Oakland California.

Khalid Awad is a 30 year old professional Photographer & Cinematographer based in Khartoum. He started off with photography and undertook courses with well renowned photographers like Joel Grims and Joe McNally. After his success in commercial photography Khalid expanded his expertise to include cinematography. In 2014 he founded HIGHLIGHT PRODUCTIONS, a studio and a leading production house in corporate video, events coverage and commercials. Khalid produced work for some of the most reputable companies and organizations in Sudan including United Nations, IOM, KIA motors, DAL group, Zain and more. In 2016 Khalid entered the world of cinema by joining the cinematography team of the fiction film Nyerkuk. The film won awards in local and international festivals including the prestigious Carthage Film Festival.  Khalid won the Jury Award for his cinematography in the same film at Sudan Independent Film Festival in 2017.

Shehab Satti is a Director, Videographer, and video editor based in Khartoum, Sudan. I love working in darkrooms as a Post Production specialist, and I love working outside as a director, The beam that comes out of the projector, I like that it comes out of my heart and mind to affect the audience. My love for cinema and media has made me hone my skills as a director and post-production specialist. Storytelling is completely linked to the image, storytelling, editing, synthesis, music, and effects that we set based on understanding the rules and also breaking them when needed. I was challenging myself to work on different artistic forms. I won the Best Sudanese Film award at the Sudan Independent Film Festival in 2018 for my film Serotonin. He also participated in many festivals around the world and won many awards. I also graduated from the Faculty of Communication Sciences in 2020 and got a Bachelor’s degree in multimedia with a documentary film project “What's on tonight?” about independent cinema in Sudan and the closure of cinemas after the coup of the Islamic government in Sudan. And during the Corona period, I made my film “Nosophobia” produced by IMS and Sudan Film Factory and Aain network in 2021, as it was screened at the Sudanese European Film Festival. These films, along with my commercial works, have always expressed my thoughts and artistic vision, starting with the story, then directing, and finally in editing. I shoot using 5D mark III and professional filming, sound, and lighting equipment and video editing using Adobe Premiere for more than 7 years and I have excellent skills with After Effects and Photoshop.

Erwan, born in 1985, has a geography formation and do regularly missions with MSF on emergency projects, as in refugee camps in Tanzania. Arrived in Burkina Faso 4 years ago as part of a project to update the mapping of the country, Erwan decided to devote himself fully to his passion for documentary photography. In visit in Europe to see his family, his plane lands on the evening of 29 October in Ouagadougou. Next morning the National Assembly was in flames. The Blaise Compaoré regime drew to a close. It was his first direct experience with the uprising of a people … a revolution. Therefore, he decide to follow the entire process leading the Burkina Faso to democratic elections He has exhibited his work on the popular uprising in Ouagadougou and he also had the opportunity to exhibit in Nyarugusu camp – Tanzania, some portraits of refugees made in the same camp for the World Refugee Day 2015 in partnership with the UNHCR.
