I'm a freelance filmmaker with the full kit to shoot and edit. I shoot on C300, edit on Premiere and speak fluent French. Until this October I worked full time as a video producer for the Philharmonia Orchestra and have produced a variety of shoots for the orchestra from multi camera performance shoots to a 360 experience with VR specialists Inition and feature documentaries shot around the world, from LA to Berlin.

Raised in Norway, I have always been a keen filmmaker from a young age. I studied film production at Farnham UK and went on to run a production company for 3 years, before starting my own company, The Film Yard. We are a full-service video agency specialising in high-end corporate video, case studies, interviews and documentaries. For the past 2 years, we have also been producing 360 and VR videos around the world. I have worked both by myself and with large production's and crews, and I am very comfortable taking on creative briefs and delivering high-quality videos. I have my own camera equipment and a global network of filmmakers that enables me to achieve any kind of shots the client desires. I am also a keen sportsman, traveller and Dad. Anatole is a London-based director specialising in documentaries and branded content. Having started his career as a documentary photographer, Anatole’s work particularly focuses on the interplay between documentary naturalism and a more intentional approach to cinematography. His branded work aims to bring authenticity to a brand’s narrative, by exploring genuine human stories through the lens of the brand. Whilst first and foremost a director, Anatole has worked variously as a producer, editor, and cinematographer. As a result, he approaches a project according to its needs, sometimes shooting solo and at other times working with a crew. He is particularly interested in exploring themes relating to the climate crisis. As Creative Director, he was on the founding team of RE:TV, a sustainability channel established by HM The King in 2020. Formerly a tutor at UCL's MA in Immersive Factual Storytelling, Anatole is also an experienced 360VR filmmaker. Anatole is mixed British Chinese, and grew up between the UK, Hong Kong, and Japan. He is a cofounder and Creative Director at REN Studios (www.renstudios.com), a creative studio with particular expertise in the science and tech industries, and which specialises in non-fiction storytelling across documentary film, 3D animation, and VR/AR.

Isla is a filmmaker & visual artist. She programmes film festival Sheffield Doc/Fest, has written articles for The Guardian, produced audio installations for London’s Science Museum, developed an Arts Council Funded VR Opera & is a BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew participant 2019. Isla is currently directing a feature documentary in Tanzania investigating one of the biggest medical and architectural research projects into anti-malaria alternatives, a BFI / Doc Society documentary about a vanishing community of fishermen in the rural south-west of the UK, an artistic audio/visual response to this culture in a film funded by the BBC New Creatives Scheme and an experimental book / film with Professor Brendan Stone exploring how we hold multiple realities and identities which inform an art for living life with a mental health condition. Isla has a curiosity for people and the quiet stories that surround us. Her work challenges cultural stigmas through creating atmospheric, semi-autobiographical art and filmmaking that merge documentary and fiction to question conventions and defy stereotypes. Isla captures the overlooked flickers of everyday life and presents them in a cinematic way for audiences to rediscover the unexpected beauty in familiar places and people, and to inspire others to slow down and take notice of the lives of those around them. Having been awarded funding in the UK and Denmark, her art and filmmaking explores experiences of mental health, isolated communities, gender identity and hidden cultures. Isla has directed, developed, funded, produced and distributed international documentary and fiction films such as an impact film on child illiteracy, H is for Harry, a feature on religious tolerance in Sierra Leone for Danish TV (DR3), to the fictionalised memories of a WW1 nurse in ‘Testament of Youth’. Isla's experience developing and investigating real human stories indicates her humanistic and collaborative approach to projects.

I create 360 video experiences that push the boundaries of storytelling with new technologies. I've spent the past two years creating original and visually striking work that transports viewers through virtual reality headsets. In having a film-making background I have used my prior skills and knowledge to develop a unique style in capturing and directing virtual reality based experiences. In the past year I have been a part of some big projects for companies like; ING, Tommy Hilfiger, Massive Music and Nestle. I was the Director of Photography of Ashes to Ashes which was nominated for a Dutch Academy Award in the Interactive Category.
