Iason Athanasiadis is a photojournalist, documentary film-maker and writer working on the intersection of the Eastern Mediterranean with the Arab, Persian and Turkic Middle East and Central Asia. A fluent Arabic, Persian and Turkish speaker, he has covered some of the contemporary region’s signature crises and lived in Cairo, Damascus, Libya's Tripoli, Sanaa and Tehran. He is currently based between Athens, Istanbul and Tunis. Iason has worked on several news and documentary films, as well as on-spec shooting assignments. In 2017 he received the Anna Lindh Foundation's 10th Anniversary Mediterranean Journalism Award's alumni prize for a series of articles he had written about formerly cosmopolitan ports of the Mediterranean and their psychogeography. Martin Errichiello is a filmmaker, documentary photographer and visual artist. Since 2008 he developed indipendent editorial projects, worked with film and multimedia studios in the audiovisual production and collaborated with anthropologists, musicians and directors on different projects, exhibitions and feature films. In 2010 he graduates in Visual Communication at the CFP Bauer of Milan with an internship with artist Raffaela Mariniello. In 2012 he was selected for the Visual Storytelling Master course at the Danish School of Media where he founded the international crossmedia network "Panaut Collective” and realized the awards-winning documentary "Archipelagoes". He lived, traveled and worked in Asia, Africa and Europe; he’s now based in Napoli, where he works on a mixed media long- term research about Sputhern Italy’s identity. In 2017, together with Filippo Menichetti he released the first chapter, “In Fourth Person” which has been presented, exhibited and awarded in Europe and America.
