I have been working in film production since 2009, when I was hired as a production assistant by a director specialized in international documentaries. My role shifted with each documentary and production step, ranging from researcher and production assistant to field and line producer as well as editor. I then became self-employed and took on further projects both in the documentary field (fixer, writer/editor, production assistant, casting/location scout) and commercial production (P.A.). I also worked as an editor and producer with National Geographic and the UNESCO.

“The Day of Northern Germans” is the largest single production by NDR television to date: Throughout 18 hours, 121 people gave insight into their lives and everyday surroundings.
This series showcases people doing things outside accepted ways of living. A revealing insight into the weird, unthinkable and taboo acts of everyday people, the viewer will be left in no doubt as to why some things are ‘Forbidden'.

Boeing, John Jacob Astor and Henry J. Heinz changed the way the world eats, dresses, plays and travels. They each left Germany hoping to find a better life in America and they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.
