Hello there! My name is Katie Simbala. I’m a New York City Native living in Baltimore city. I am a queer Latina creative with 10+ years experience in the visual art field and have specifically been operating as a Director of Photography for the last 5 years. I own two lifestyle studios in the Baltimore city area to use for interviews and any other projects you are interested in. We pride ourselves in the visuals we are able to provide our clients. We believe our imagery is deep and captivating and we would love to be of service. We believe in working toward the advancement of people of color in this industry, with a special focus on women. Women directors of Photography make up only 6% of the entire film industry. We believe we can forge a way forward to make way for others to follow behind us.
