Jack Hansen is a seasoned editor and sound designer based in Los Angeles, CA. With a BFA in Filmmaking from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Jack has over 12 years of editing, sound design, and post-producing experience. In 2019, Jack was nominated for the Anne V. Coates Student Editing Competition Award by American Cinema Editors (ACE). He attended the 2019 ACE Eddie Awards as one of three student finalists. In addition to his work as an editor & sound designer, Jack is also the founder and head of creative at HANSENHOUSE, an artist-led post-production studio based in downtown Burbank. Jack and his team work with agencies, brands, and creative professionals across the media & entertainment industry producing content enjoyed by millions of viewers from all over the world. Jack has extensive experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, and Frame.io.

Fletcher Opera Institute at UNCSA presents Joseph Haydn’s acclaimed opera “Orlando Paladino” with a twist, setting the story of love and madness in outer space and featuring a visit to the Gates of Hell. Enjoy stunning voices and innovative design while gaining insight into the process of performing, directing and adapting a historically significant work.
Join acclaimed conductor Guillermo Figueroa as he leads the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra through Hector Berlioz’s masterpiece, “Symphonie Fantastique.” Figueroa, a Berlioz specialist, has made recordings of all the composer’s works. “Symphonie Fantastique” tells a musical story of an unrequited love affair and features giant bells loaned to UNCSA by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
