I've been making images for newspapers and documentaries for thirteen years. My schooling is in TV/Broadcasting and I brought that to the three daily newspapers for which I worked full-time for eight years after college. Five years ago I became an independent photographer and have been relied upon to help shoot numerous projects for businesses, schools, universities and two HBO Documentaries, The Cheshire Murders, which aired in 2013 and The Newburgh Sting which was nominated for the News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. I was asked to document the Friends Seminary Service Day. I often do photo and video work for Friends Seminary. John Galayda has been my contact at Friends for years.
I was asked by Daphne Northrop who no longer works at EDC to work on this project. I shot, lit, and edited the entire piece which was designed to promote EDC, a Massachusetts based non-profit.

I was asked by Kate Davis and David Heilbroner to help them shoot in Newburgh, Yonkers, and New York City, NY for the Newburgh Sting. The documentary uses undercover footage collected by the FBI as well as footage shot by Kate, David and myself. I shot several interviews as well as reenactment scenes to buffer the FBI footage.
After documenting the scene of this crime for a local newspaper I met Kate Davis who took an interest in the video I captured the morning of the crime. They used the footage at the beginning of the documentary and later had asked me to shoot on numerous occasions in and around Cheshire during the trial. It took 7 years to make the documentary because we had to include the verdicts of the two men.
