Nuru International teaches those living in extreme poverty how to increase their maize harvest, sell their surplus maize for income, and budget for household savings, healthcare, education and necessities for their home, like a latrine. Over time, farmers in Nuru's programs are able to make choices to improve their lives in a sustainable way and lift themselves out of extreme poverty -- forever.
