My work focuses on the social, environmental, and cultural issues in Latin America and Africa. I have produced photo essays and reports in various countries over the course of recent years, such as Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mexico, Mozambique, Namibia, Senegal, Swaziland, South Sudan, Uganda etc. I am also involved in the production of independent documentaries on literacy in Bolivia, education in Mozambique, HIV in Swaziland, and agriculture in Africa. Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, is still Africa's largest producing coffee producing country and home to some of the world's best specialty beans. This video features the seed to cup story, showing how coffee is produced in Ethiopia, the roasting process, to its consumption in Cafe Beit, a barista-owned coffee shop in Williamsburg.
Documentary on the stories of ten participants of the project "Empowering Refugee Women", coordinated by the UN Global Compact Network Brazil, in partnership with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and UN Women.
