About Angela
After my study in Letterature and Art in Genova, I started to work like a journalist for a local tv channel in Milan and then for news web site. I live in Rome now and I'm a freelance videomaker, but most of the time I work for Repubblica.it, a national news web site and I make videos for them. Since 2008 I'm a member of the association of journalists in Italy.

It was 2015 when chinese asylum seekers went to the legal office of A Buon Diritto association in Rome for the first time. The reason they went there was because they are persecuted by the Chinese government as Christians. During the last two years the numbers have increased by 300%, so that asylum applications in Italy have gone from 356 in 2015 to 871 in 2016. The testimony of persecuted girl.

During the last twelve months, after the agreement between Ue and Turkey about migrants, the situation on the greek island Lesvos is changing: the landings are decreased like people came from Syria while people came from North Africa and Sub Saharan Africa are increasing. Waiting for the result of their asylum application, migrants are blocked on island.
