I have been working as a free-lance reporter for one of Europe's most well-known TV stations such as Euronews, ARTE, Deutsche Welle TV and others for more than 10 years - covering events from the world of politics, culture, sport, and business from Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. I also work as a documentary filmmaker with three character-driven films to my name so far shot in countries as diverse as Chile, China, and Croatia. Based in Berlin, Germany, I have worked also as a producer for CCTV News in the recent past and I am well-connected in the German capital and its surrounding areas so that I can react fast and effectively not wasting time on establishing the needed contacts. Another field of expertise is Eastern Europe with a special view to the Balkans, where I studied and where I can communicate in the local language. Soon, I will post my Vimeo channel onto this website as well, with work samples from my various past assignments as reporter, filmmaker, and producer.

TATAP - Contra viento y marea is an upcoming documentary about one-armed Chilean guitar player Andrés Godoy. I directed and wrote it.
This is a documentary about Beirut-based rock band The Kordz focussing on the hardships the band face in a society hostile to their art. I directed and wrote the project.
I worked as a producer for CCTV's Germany correspondent Guy Henderson in the German border town of Passau, which has seen a massive influx of refugees since the summer of 2015, earning it the name of "German Lampedusa".
