About
Sashwa Burrous is a cinematographer and photographer based just north of the San Francisco Bay Area. He has photographed documentaries, music videos and fundraising videos for non-profit organizations and more. He has a passion for the outdoors, and brings a sense of adventure to all of his work. Sashwa has a unique ability to create jaw-droppingly beautiful time-lapse footage. He was a camera operator for award-winning documentary The First 70, a journey through California to document the closure of 70 State Parks, and recently started his own production company.

With California being in the worst drought in recorded history, keystone species like Coho Salmon are on the decline. Gold Ridge Resource and Conservation District has been at the front of lots of great projects in Sonoma County regarding fish habitat and land management. This project shows how land owners can work with local agencies to create more habitat and help to restore our watershed.
