CERTIFIED FILMMAKER. I have a heterogeneous background: I worked as a teacher (4 yrs), corporate consultant/trainer/coach (14 yrs) and filmmaker. I consider myself a ‘Renaissance Soul’: curious, adventurous and talented in more than one area. I know how to capture a story perfectly because of this combination of skills and experience. I have a ‘Fingerspitzengefühl’ for knowing how to make people feel comfortable on camera and have a 'female gaze' for aesthetics (interesting stories can be beautiful too). I invested in the latest gear that makes 4K quality possible, while the same camera (Panasonic GH4) doesn’t feel too intruding in people’s personal space. I guarantee high quality audio too. I went to film school in The Netherlands. I do all the camera + sound + editing myself.
Urban Cacao is a factory that produces organic chocolate. They needed a film without words to show their production process for a second shop in the centre of Amsterdam for customers who are waiting in line.
I tried to give you a little insight on how I do my meditation and it's hardly ever sitting on a cushion. I prefer tea-meditation, walking-meditation, shutting off the sounds of the streets a little by putting on headphones and listening to music. And sit on a boat on the water, in the canals of Amsterdam.
Just an amazing day in nature. Mystic atmosphere, captured on my iPhone because I did not have my Panasonic GH4 with me. Still, it's a good capture of the moment. The eye of the filmmaker is the difference, in that case.
