With a degree in Mass Communications and majors in media production, I am a visual storyteller, filmmaker, and video producer from Pakistan. The documentaries/videos I make put the human experience at the heart of storytelling. I believe in human-first stories and experiences. Young girls from a fairly conservative town in northern Pakistan who want to play football against their family’s and society’s will visit another city for the first time, to attend an all girls football camp in the heart of Islamabad.
Project for UN Women - Pakistan Domestic violence issues highlighted by showing women from every class in the society facing physical and emotional domestic violence.
The video shows differently-abled women living their lives while being judged by the society but never giving up and celebrating their condition instead.
