About

Naor is an anthropologist and documentary filmmaker living in London and São Paulo. He writes, shoots and directs films focused on culture, social mobilization and human rights. His first short film about Prestes Maia, the largest occupation in Latin America, won the Face of Exclusion competition of the Inter-American Development Bank. He was a cinematographer on "Soka Afrika" (2010), screened in Al-Jazeera's Witness program, a feature-length documentary on the illegal trafficking of football players between Europe and Africa. He directed episodes in the series "Reis da Rua" of TV Cultura, produced by Mosquito Project; And "BR3 Amores Migrantes" from TV Brasil, produced by Miração Filmes. Recently, he wrote and co-directed an episode on HBO Brasil's "Otros Tempos: Jóvenes" series, produced by Prodigo Films. The series explores in eight feature-length episodes the world of young people today. The episode's theme was suicide. Naor also works with international organizations, such as UN agencies, producing campaigns. In 2016 he co-directed a Young & Rubicam Uruguay campaign for the Teto organization that won the Campana del Oro.
