I'm a Syrian-American director/dp/photographer; raised in my parents' hometown of Aleppo, Syria, and based in my birthplace, Los Angeles. As a cinematographer, I specialize in verite, interviews, and slow motion. I work at the intersection of doc and narrative, and am heavily invested in decolonizing filmmaking in terms of process, form and visual language.
