Hello I am Eugene Booysen the co-founder of Munjiri Videos, I have over 6 years experience filming and flying drones. I love the art of filming and this has allowed me to film in beautiful locations in several countries.
African Bat Conservation conducts applied research, conservation and education to bring bats to the conservation agenda and help conserve bat populations in Africa. Mostly we hear stories about human wildlife conflict, but just outside Lilongwe these bats are helping to create an excellent banana harvest. Filming in a banana field in the dark was interesting and seeing these unique critters up close was amazing!
After our video work was all tied up in Zambia we decided to take a trip from Lusaka to the beautiful Kafue to visit our friend Ben who works there. It was amazing to explore an area we both had never been to and experience the nature that is at home there. We collaborated with Wildlife Africa to get us to some incredible locations by car and camped at Kaingu.
We joined Kusini Safaris again, this time at Matetsi Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi river in Zimbabwe. As well as appreciating the incredible nature, Kusini Safaris knows that safaris are about people too, the people who go on them and the local people that live in and protect these amazing places.
