Lina Plioplyte is an Emmy winning, Silver Lion and Clio awarded Lithuanian born filmmaker and camera woman, living and working between California and Mexico. Her movie making journey began as a journalism student in Lithuania and later at CU Boulder. NYC was the best film school when she moved there in 2007, producing video content for NYLON magazine TV. She is in development for her third feature doc, while creating short films, travel content and documentaries about bright personalities, celebrating women, highlighting untold stories. Her work has been showcased on Netflix, Hulu, MTV, PBS and soon her documentary PERIODICAL to premiere on MSNBC, her work played in HotDocs, IDFA, Venice Biennale, etc. Lina's camera work, awarded with an Emmy, champions natural light. Understanding both camera and story makes Lina a skillful collaborator. She is interested in people who are living unconventionally, the solutions for the planet, urban spaces, activism, social issues and mindful entertainment.
