I am a videographer and photographer with a background in journalism. I am widely traveled and specialize in the production of short documentaries, particularly in the developing world. I have done stories for the Red Cross / Red Crescent, United Nations and Fairfood International. I'm based in Amsterdam and I have a full range of Nikon DSLR cameras and lenses, audio recording equipment and video editing facilities. I also have a 60m2 studio in Amsterdam. I usually tell stories about people in difficult circumstances, how they cope, their plans for the future. I can provide additional photographic or written material if necessary. I have a well-developed visual sense and a nose for a good story.
I spent three months with the Liberia Red Cross in 2014 at the peak of the Ebola outbreak. This documentary looks at how the Red Cross health professionals, burial teams and volunteers tackled the epidemic.
I made this short documentary about families that received new homes from the Red Cross after a cyclone devastated much of southern Bangladesh in 2007.
