Hello,my name is Gitema a Kenyan born journalist who studied at Kenya institute of mass communication class of 2012,an experienced shoot edit multimedia journalist with five years experience about to clock six. I have a passion to tell awesome stories that touch and change people lives while entertaining them at the same time. I have had the pleasure to work on very awesome stories within my country. i have highlighted the pleas of the minorities in the state, worked on a piece that captured the poor state of health in the kibera slum, Nairobi Kenya. It was a piece that touched my heart. I have also had a chance recently to visit the refugee camps in the northern part of the country, Dadaab,Garissa. it was eye opener for me to see how the refugees survive with very little yet they have gone beyond and succeeded in business.
