Roshni's directorial debut feature Ghost of the Golden Groves was officially selected at numerous international film festivals such as the Festival du Nouvaeu Cinema Montreal (Canada), Cinequest (USA) and the London Indian Film Festival. It was nominated for the prestigious FIPRESCI Award and won a Jury Award at the Chicago Underground Film Festival. It was also one of those rare Indian films to be featured in BFI's Sight & Sound Magazine.
