About

Born in Barcelona in 1979. Freelancer photographer and cinematographer since 2004. Focus on documentary, video journalism and advertisement. He was the cinematographer of the documentary film LA CHANA, which won the IDFA Audience Award, among other prizes and was selected in more than 50 festivals around the world, including HOT DOCS, Festival de Málaga, DOCS BCN, and was nominated for the Best Documentary of 2017 at EUROPEAN FILMS AWARDS. He also realized several short documentary films as a cinematographer and co-writer. With one of them, ENCANTO, won the Audience Award in the FESTIVAL do CINEMA da UFRJ , and the Honorable Mention in the MOSTRA INDEPENDIENTE do AUDIOVISUAL do BRASIL. And joined festivals like DOCUMENTA MADRID, CAMERA MUNDO-ROTTERDAM... He finished his studies with a Master’s degree in Documentary Film. He also attended documentary seminars of Nicolas Philibert and Patricio Guzmán. Regularly he realizes reports, as a cameraman, for THE GUARDIAN. Nowadays he is shooting other documentary filma, HUNGER BROTHERS.
