I started my career in Beirut my home town where I was born and grew up. Worked in a local Tv in Lebanon as a production coordinator for 3 years. When the Syrian crisis started I was moving between Lebanon, Syria, and Istanbul covering the war as a freelancer and working on my first documentary. At the beginning of 2014, I came back to Beirut worked for 1 year covering the refugees' crisis and started with Ahmad Moftah (my work partner) our own production house Moftah Productions, we did numerous productions from all over the world. Now I'm working as a freelance video journalist traveling between Lebanon and Germany and other European countries.

Mohammad Lahham is a sculptor in Lebanon who fled the war in Syria five years ago with his wife, two children and his parents. Now based in a southern suburb of Beirut, he creates sculptures of Christian saints at a roadside studio 40km south of the city. He says people tell him his job is forbidden – referencing Islamic tradition that discourages depictions of deities in physical form.
