I'm a journalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area who's recognized for connecting to people and relaying information that's vital. A 2022 Kiplinger Fellow at the Scripps School of Journalism at University of Ohio, I'm skilled at localizing climate stories and promoting solutions. My most recent nonfiction book, "GIRL WARRIORS: How 25 Young Activists Are Saving the Earth" (April 2021, Chicago Review Press), earned a Kirkus starred review ("Engaging, brilliant, and intersectional: a must for shelves everywhere."). My next book, Climate Champions: 15 Women Fighting for Your Future, is due out in 2023 (Chicago Review Press).
