Tension was slowly building in Ferguson, weeks before the grand jury’s decision in the case of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager who was fatally shot in August by a white police officer, Darren Wilson. I covered the protests before and after the Grand Jury's decision in Ferguson and Chicago.
The couple became homeless after they were evicted. Lucas and Michelle Olsen had five children but were not legally married due to which they couldn't live in a family shelter. Carol Boyd of Humble Hearts married them so that they can live in a family shelter. Seven months later Lucas and Michelle are still homeless. This documentary is still in production.

Tohono O'odham, a Native American tribe in Arizona, is believed to have one of the highest rates of Type 2 diabetes in the world. A non-profit organization on the reservation launched an ambitious plan to introduce traditional ways of growing and cooking food to the tribe's youngest members.
