I recently produced a video for Rewire.org that combined two passions of mine: mushrooms and hiking. I got connected Steve Ness who lived out in Washington State's Olympic Peninsula and was a mushroom fanatic. He recently received a science grant to examine the DNA of specific mushroom species and the old-growth forest served as his backyard. I produced this piece solo - all production aspects.

This project was chosen for a grant through PBS's national program SciTech Now. I spent three days aboard the University of Washington's Ocean research vessel to map critical parts of the ocean floor. I was the producer / shooter/ . scratch editor for this piece.
I co-produced, shot and co-edited this piece for Spark Public, a media channel I managed that empowered young public media journalists. We spent a day with Micheal, a 19 year-old transgender youth, who attends college while also being homeless. The piece was part of a city-wide media spotlight on homelessness in Seattle.
I created this content marketing video for a client through using my production and storytelling skills. The client was looking for something engaging and authentic and connected with audiences. I conceptualized, shot, scripted and edited this video myself.
