I have directed, produced, and edited several documentaries that have been screened at film festivals around the world. Mujeres en movimiento is a community film project carried out in Ecuador financed by the IOM International Organization of Migrants with women in situations of human mobility and host communities. The project collectively made audiovisual products that generate a reflection on the situation of women who live and transit the borders, their life experiences and their struggles, creating a sincere portrait of their stories from their own voices. More than 60 women in the cities of Tulcán, Juncal, Ibarra and Esmeraldas collectively created the script for a documentary film told in 4 chapters, which allow its viewers to explore these territories. Through a process of training and accompaniment of the facilitators of the Nómada Cine Comunitario collective, they learned to manage film crews, spin their stories through a collective script and create short films that allowed them to star and tell their stories.

The Bull Dance (Baile del Torito) is a dance of Ladino origin adopted by the indigenous people of Guatemala. This dance dates back to the 17th century. The dance tells a story of a ranch foreman who forbids the cowboys to deal with an enraged bull, so they choose to get the boss drunk. The Bull Dance (Baile del Torito) is a mix of cultures, Christian traditions, and ancient Mayan mythology. What an experience it was getting to witness local Guatemalans showcasing this dance and their art as a way to preserve their culture and keep their traditions going.
