Nobuhiro Awata is a cross-disciplinary film maker and strategy consultant of Passages, working at the intersection of business, art, science, photography and publishing. He has developed an interdisciplinary approach to filmmaking and seeking synergy across a number of industries. He also enjoys working on documentaries and non-profit based video library of life experience project “the “Gloval Lives Project”. Nobu worked for Taiwanese feature film “Seediq bale” to start his feature film currier in Taiwan. After worked for “The Rooftop” he established Passages to start developing own feature film project and also consulting variety of cross-countries projects.
80 years ago, Seediq people living in the mountains of Taiwan organized an uprising against the Japanese colonial rulers: the rebellion known as the "Wushe Incident". In this documentary, the descendants of the Wushe survivors talk about that history from their point of view, and lead us to the places where the tragedies took place.
