Africa – accelerating financial inclusion With a fast-growing economy and a relatively young, tech-savvy population, Africa is a dynamic and diverse market that presents exciting opportunities for both international and local private enterprises.
There are more than 7.5 million smallholder farmers in Kenya, accounting for about 75 per cent of the country's total agricultural output. Until recently, most farmers in the area lacked capital to buy high quality seeds, certified fertiliser and pesticides. They also lacked information on best farming practices and post-harvest storage.
The Clan Acrobats, a group of 5 young men, have turned Government restrictions on crowds and gatherings that had forced many artists/entertainers loose their income into a new art form.
