has 15 years plus as a Kenyan Film and TV Director/Screenwriter. For drama films and TV he has won Best Kenyan Film, Riverwood Awards (2017), Best Film Coast Film Festival (2016) with Kizingo. He has won Best Sports and Society Documentary, Cote d'Azur Sports Film Festival,2017 NICE, FRANCE as a Director, 'One Foot Ahead' , He also won Best Documentary 2010 at the Kalasha Kenya Film Awards for directing ‘A History of Film in Kenya’. He is currently finalising a feature length creative documentary, ‘Odijo’ for which he received the DocuBox East Africa Documentary Film Fund in 2016.
This is a short documentary that we shot for Process Express International's famine relief CSR that included Goya Foods donation in the famine stricken Kilifi, in Kenya’s coast. Shot on a Canon 5D Mark II, with a Sennheiser boom and a Zoom H6 using a 2 pax crew, I co-produced, did camerawork and edited the video.
