I was born in Brazil in 1976. After spending my teen years playing with camcorders and VCRs, I ended up working in the field of television journalism and video production in my home country. I graduated with a degree in communications in 1997 and I then furthered my studies at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where I completed a master's degree in documentary production in 2001. I focused my research on fly-on-the-wall documentaries. For the past ten years I've been working around the world as a travel videographer. I currently work as freelancer abord the National Geographic Endeavor, in the Galapagos Islands
