I am what you can call a seasoned journalist/reporter. I worked for the Associated Press (AP) for 15 years (2000-2015) as the Surinam-based stringer, and also did freelance jobs for international media like Al Jazeera and the BBC, and for various Dutch and German magazines and newspapers. In Surinam I worked for the biggest newspaper, the most popular radio station and for the best daily news show for teenagers. All this has made me a useful all-rounder who can cover just about every topic. A few months ago I started my own blog 597footballstories, which at this point still is more a hobby.
This is a story about a series of murders which still have not been solved. It was one of the last stories I did for AP, and I consider it one of my best pieces.
