Todd Darling, Director/Camera/Editor/Producer: Todd has directed and produced feature length documentaries, news, and reality series. His credits include his own films, "Occupy The Farm", "Black Rock Horse", "A Snow Mobile for George" and the MTV hit reality series, "Laguna Beach" He now works with the Arriflex Amira and is presently covering events at Standing Rock, ND. The HBO show "Vice News Tonight" aired a segment he produced and shot at Standing Rock on Friday Oct. 28, 2016. He has offices in San Francisco, CA.
"Laguna Beach" was a ground breaking reality show about a group of high-school students from the seaside community of Laguna Beach. The close, life-long friendships and tangled romances of these teenagers was set on the spectacular stretch of coast, and was captured with a feature film sensibility. Todd Darling directed on three seasons, was the lead director of season 2 and edited on season 1.

The camps at Standing Rock started with five young people. By late October they included thousands of people and numerous camps. This week hundreds of heavily militarized police, backed by armored cars, tanks and National Guard, removed one of the camps from the pipeline's route, and then pushed Native American "Water Protectors" and their allies back to their main camp.

Occupy The Farm tells the story of 200 hundred urban farmers who walk onto a publicly owned research farm and plant two acres of crops in order to save the land from becoming a real-estate development. Riot police removed the farmers after three weeks, but this action altered the fate of the land. This documentary feature film screened theatrically in 50 US cities. Available on iTunes and Amazon.
