I love telling stories. At its simplest I am a filmmaker. I direct films. I produce films. I edit films. But nothing is so straightforward - I’ve been an Executive Producer, a Runner, Production Assistant, “Preditor”, Head of Film and Creative Director. I’ve worked in independent production, direct with brand and closely with marketing agencies. With a nice 12 year stint in broadcast for some of the biggest names in the industry (BBC, ESPN, Al Jazeera). I have a proven track record of helping shape brand perception with stories that connect and engage with audiences. Specialising in directing short form promos, TVC’s and social media films, I also have good experience in short films as well as on longer form documentaries and brand / corporate films. Along the way I’ve been honoured to have my work recognised by Raindance Film Festival, New York Film Festival, PROMAX BDA and Red Dot – winning over 30 awards for my short form work. I love the story telling process and telling stories that communicate the right message to the right audience. If you would like my advice on any project I am now actively for hire to work. This film was part of Al Jazeera Media Network top tier Digital Campaign in 2015 that featured over 50 films, running across 5 channels in 4 languages. I led on the Creative Direction and Executive Produced this campaign for AJMN, working closely with our internal cilents, senior managment and international broadcaster channels to deliver a product that would work well across all audiences
In 2017 Vodafone launched a series of films across the world to showcase the strength and reliability of their 4G network. Resolution Films was commissioned to produce this challenging and fun film.
Qatari Diar comissioned Resolution Films as their official media partner for a long running series of content marketing films to raise awarness of Lusail City in Qatar. I worked as Creative Director on all films within this series and directed many of the 120 films that delivered beyond the clients expectations.
