About Jessey

Jessey Dearing is a Seattle-based cinematographer, director of photography and film editor. He regularly contributes to projects and stories for The New York Times and Vice News Tonight, and was a director of photography for National Geographic’s relaunched flagship series “Explorer.” His work has been published by MSNBC, Washington Post, Univision and NPR, among others. He also collaborates with commercial clients such as Amazon and Starbucks to bring a documentary style to their storytelling.
