Catherine is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, a former international aid worker with experience in 18 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Her directorial debut '9at38' follows a violinist's unrelenting pursuit for a joint concert by North and South Koreans at their border and was featured on the front page of The Atlantic after screening at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and at the United Nations in Geneva. She has also produced for NatGeo, Channel4 (resulting in an FPA Media Award 2017), Channel NewsAsia, and others. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Kennedy School, she currently splits her time between Nairobi (base), Seoul, and NYC.
