Documentary filmmaker, videographer and host. I have reported and produced stories in Europe, Africa, North and South America for German and international outlets. I saw how dancing ballet gives hope to girls in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, learned how Botswana attempts to finally overcome the HIV/AIDS epidemic, documented bird singing competitions in Guyana, spent time with wingsuit pilots in Switzerland, followed vaccine skeptics, a pro-life biker club and a group of friends in Germany trying to save their Syrian friend from deportation. Based in New York from 2013 to 2016. Previously a producer for German news and entertainment TV shows. Graduate of the Columbia Journalism School with a focus on documentary storytelling. Currently based in Berlin. Full working proficiency in German and English, fluent in Spanish, conversant in French. Upcoming documentary productions in Uganda and Mali.
