A documentary self-shooter with experience in investigative journalism, editing and photography. With a proven record of contributor finding, I have casted contributors for challenging stories on the National Geographic program Underworld Inc. and the BBC’s Child Genius. Previously, I have organised, self-shot and edited a number of short documentary projects in the UK, Colombia, Brazil and Spain, which also required me use my languages in Spanish and Portuguese. I am able to form trusting relationships with my subjects and have experience in dealing with sensitive issues. My previous work in journalism includes working with Colombian newspaper colombiareports.com, while collaborating on a story for the Women’s Rights movement in Medellin, Colombia, as well as carrying out an undercover report for The Mail on Sunday,UK. I'm also a confident editor and have edited promotional and short documentary videos. I enjoy searching for new, inspiring stories.
Fighting For The Wild is a short documentary that confronts the truth behind animal trafficking and animal tourism, and asks us to face up to our own responsibilities of how to change this. Here, in the outskirts of Cuzco, the Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, one of the few animal centres in Peru, is on a mission to educate tourists and locals about the dangers of using exotic animals as pets.

I worked as the sole editor for a promotional video of a photography exhibition in London ´Lost in Music´. The video was an attempt to capture the soul and spirit of the different dance movements over the decades. It traces the evolution of dance from the 1800s to the 80s.
Self-shot a promotional video for a feature documentary on a Mixed Martial Arts fighters’ club in Brazil. I organised access, filmed and interviewed contributors in a dangerous and restricted area of the favela Santa Amaro, Rio de Janeiro. The role required me to use my Portuguese.

Sole researcher for National Geographic´s 'Underworld Inc' series, from the development stage to post-production. I sourced challenging contributors in the black market trade, law enforcement and medical agencies. I also assisted in an on-location shoot with a high-profile contributor.
