Jatuporn Athasopa “Tuktaa” is an award-winning director working in regional TV for nearly fifteen years. She has filmed in various environment from the Alaskan wilderness and the Australian outback to Myanmar jungles and cities around the world. Her work includes every genre of non-scripted content from wildlife, history, talent to travel shows. Her show, Extreme China, won her the 2019 Best Direction Award from the Asian Academy Creative Awards. The program also picked up the Best Documentary Series and Best Infotainment Program Awards. Her other acclaimed shows include Channel News Asia’s Against the Elements, an award-winning documentary highlighting the effort of people who came together to bring twelve boys and their football coach out of a flooded cave in northern Thailand; and high rated National Geographic’s Monster Fish, following Dr Zeb Hogan to remote areas in Laos, Thailand, Australia and USA, in search of the world’s largest fish. Tuktaa has worked with some of the top Executive Producers from the US, the UK and across the region for National Geographic, National Geographic Wild US, Discovery Channel, Vice World News, History Channel, BBC, Crime and Investigation Network, Fox Life, Channel News Asia, Bloomberg and others. At a public high school in Bangkok, teacher Damkerng Mungthanya is dedicated to helping students experience the joys of learning English. Blind since birth, Damkerng is the only teacher with a disability in his school. In Thailand, 2.1 million people with disabilities are registered with the government, but only 6 percent of those of working age are employed. Damkerng strives to move ahead in his career and inspire more opportunities for people like him in the workforce.

Buntida Chinnawong, also known as Faii Using Foot Wearing Makeup, is a Thai beauty influencer with disabilities. She doesn’t consider herself to be disabled, as her family didn’t raise her to believe she is. She became famous overnight when a clip of her using her foot to put on makeup went viral on social media. She has had to break through many barriers both physical and psychological to become a successful personality.

On 8th Feb 2020, in Thailand's North-eastern province , a soldier shot dead his commanding officer and mother-in-law over a financial dispute. He went on to steal weapons and a Humvee before driving to Terminal 21 Korat Shopping Mall, where he continued his killing rampage. 32-year-old beauty advisor, Ratcharnon Chestnork, was there. He was trapped in an electric control room overnight, and was one of the last people to be rescued before the Thai authorities went in and took out the gunman.
