I already worked with press offices, movie production and as a reporter from El Pais / Madrid before starting my career as a photojournalist in Porto Alegre, in the south of Brazil. Where working for Jornal do Comércio and Metro Newspapers, in which among many guidelines covered the World Cup 2014 and the Kiss tragedy. In 2013 won the journalism ADEP -DF Award with photos of matter “Prisoners and Forgotten” on the central prison in Porto Alegre. I also contributed to agencies such as Reuters, Agency Freelancer, Pressphoto and Folhapress. Currently I am based in São Paulo working as a freelancer photographer and journalist dedicated to documentary projects with humanitarian focus.

I spent 16 hours waiting to fophotograph this birth. It was a real experience about how it is to be born. This was for an special issue about health public system in São Paulo that has only two places where women can give birth in this humanitarian way. Than after many ours, even sleeping in a little sofa David came to life for the happiness of everybody even the news paper editor.
