About
I’m passionate about creating visual content, and teaching others how to do the same. I like to think of myself as a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to visual storytelling: I shoot and edit video, take photos, write content, voice scripts, pursue journalism, create branded marketing and fly drones. My specialty is creating solo video content in remote and challenging environments, and I travel with a kit of light-weight and compact camera equipment specifically for this purpose. I have solo video journalism experience reporting in Australia, Brazil, Japan and Nepal (ABC News Australia, Bloomberg Quicktake), and solo videography/video editing experience in Australia, Cambodia, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam (UN Environment, UN ESCAP, UN Women, Engineers Without Borders, Unbound Education and more). Another television news story I created while in Nepal. It examines a unique school rebuilding project. I shot and edited all video, conducted the interviews (with assistance of a translator), researched all information, wrote and voiced the script, and shot a solo stand-up in remote Nepal.
