Hi, there! I hope you're having a great day! My name is Maria Goddard and I worked for a nationally-award-winning student newscast as a reporter, anchor, and producer. I have experience shooting, editing, writing, and on-camera talent. I have won awards from the AP, Society of Professional Journalists, Southeast Journalism Conference, and Louisiana Association of Broadcasters, to name some. I completed two internships at WDSU & WAFB. WDSU is 2nd largest in New Orleans and WAFB is one of 2 major in Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana. Gotta Get to Heaven
A short film I did for in Spring 2016. I wrote the screenplay, shot, directed and edited everything. It was over 4 hours of filming, days of planning from writing it to casting people, and about 8 or 9 hours of editing. I wanted to create a film that preached the Gospel, but in a fun way.
