This was a co-production between myself (Kobak Pictures), and El Proyecto Videoastas Indigenas de la Frontera Sur of San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas Mex. I was secondary camera operator and simultaneous sound mixer. All I can say is viva la rebeldia zapatista y fuerza a los pueblos indigenas de America y el mundo.
These are testimonials I filmed in collaboration with the Worker-Student Solidarity Coalition of UC Santa Cruz. The workers documented in the video have been fighting the institution they work in in for a long time in order to receive the wages and benefits they deserve.
This was my exit-film in order to receive my B.A. from the Film and Digital Media Department of UC Santa Cruz in 2017. It was selected to be screened at the international art festival "CompArte por la Humanidad, todas las Artes en Contra de los Muros del Capital", in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas Mexico in July 2017.
