I recently switched over to freelancing after full time work for Time Inc. editorial brands in LA and spent many years before that at VICE, Yahoo and NBC in New York. My experience is mainly shooting and producing in the field (topics range widely from sensitive/trauma - to cute and informational) and editing. I have many examples of short form documentary content at www.michellerknight.com with reels and full work examples. I have been shooting with cinema style large-sensor cameras and DSLRs as well as capturing audio and shaping appropriate lighting most of my career.
