Mamina Turegano, MD, is a triple board-certified dermatologist, internist, and dermatopathologist practicing in the greater New Orleans area specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is also certified in integrative dermatology. Dr. Turegano completed a five-year double residency program in internal medicine and dermatology and served as chief resident at Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. She then completed her fellowship in dermatopathology at UCLA. She’s been taking care of patients in dermatology for 14 years and has been in private practice for 10 years. Dr. Turegano has a special interest in evaluating how nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, and other environmental factors can play a significant role in inflammation, aging, and cancer.
