KC Ortiz is an award winning photojournalist who focuses on under reported stories and is based in Bangkok, Thailand. His work has appeared in Al Jazeera, The Diplomat, Global Post, The Guardian, Newsweek, Time, New York Times, The Times, Vice, and others. His photography has been exhibited across the globe, showing at The Frontline Club (UK), Known Gallery (USA), The Newseum (USA), National Museum of Mexican Arts (USA), The Station Museum for Contemporary Arts (USA), and others. In 2010 KC was awarded first place by Pictures of the Year International in the Feature category for his work on the Hmong living on the run in Laos. In 2014 KC also began work as a presenter for Vice News on the political crisis in Thailand.
