Finding Blue Holes
The Great Barrier Reef’s “blue holes” are sought after by researchers and underwater explorers, who are able to learn vital information about life in the ocean from these unique geological formations. With the help of Google Maps, a team of researchers are learning what blue holes can tell us about how to better protect coral reefs.

Project Relate
For millions of people with speech impairments as a result of neurological conditions (ALS, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain injury, etc), being understood can be difficult. To break these communications barriers, Google’s Speech and Research teams joined forces to create Project Relate. This new Android app aims to help people with speech impairments communicate more easily with others and interact with the Google Assistant.
