About
Teng is a documentary filmmaker now based in China, after 6yrs' life in New York City. Her work has appeared on BBC, ABC News, and VOA, etc. She has hands-on experiences in all aspects of documentary production: pitching, researching, filming, directing, editing, and post-production. She has previously worked as a producer for Franco-German network Arté and Dutch national broadcaster VPRO, and as a researcher for the New York Times and LeMonde. The documentary series she produced have been nominated for the best TV program of the Year 2016 in the Netherlands. Teng has a Master’s degree in Documentary filmmaking from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature.
