Meet Heng. She’s living on the frontline of the climate crisis in Cambodia where the rising waters are flooding homes, ruining crops, and pushing families further into poverty. But with the right tools, women like Heng can adapt to the changing climate. ActionAid and our partners are training women's groups in new farming techniques and providing them with seeds that will help them grow climate-resilient crops.
The youth in Cambodia are mostly second or third generation offspring to survivors of the Khmer Rouge. Largely defined by their traumatising history, the new generations now have a chance to move forward and celebrate their unique voices. As the Skate NGO Skateistan embarks on a new school opening within Phenom Penh, We are Dreamers takes a deeper journey into this Subculture, following a group of young girls proving that using arts and skating they can heal the countries wounds. The younger generation is moving forward to creating new hopes and dreams for the future of there country.
