The last icemaker of Chimborazo
The case of the last ice maker, last heir of an ancient trade practiced for centuries by indigenous Ecuadorians from the province of Chimborazo, a region that bears the same name as its most representative and highest point: the highest volcano on the planet. The inactive volcanic elevation reaches a height of 6,263 meters above sea level and is the closest to the Sun on the planet.
